Just read the story on lcsun-news.com about Bob Gallagher comments. It is interesting that the ex-regent is spending his free time contacting coaches on NMSU's behalf for a hypothetical vacancy. Of course coaches are interested in this job. NMSU has never gone a season without a coach due to lack of interest. I don't know much about Gallagher, but does he just call coaches randomly and ask "if DW leaves, would you coach at NMSU"? This is an odd story. Did Gallagher call you Teddy, or did you call him? How is Gallagher privy to dialogue in "coaching circles"? I must be missing something about Gallagher's qualifications.
With all this hoopla surrounding the immediate future of DeWayne Walker, how can an Aggie fan clear his mind? Reports are coming from everywhere Seattle Times, SI.com, ESPN, even a paper from Pudget Sound is releasing information. Teddy, you have a pulse on this story as well as anyone in the National Media, what is your gut feeling? Will you be surprised to see DeWayne Walker on the sidelines at Aggie Memorial next season? Or would you be surprised to see him in the pressure cooker of the NFL, sipping latte's in Seattle?
Seeing the reaction that Tennesse and some of the media had to Kiffin leaving after only one season, is there any comparison to the situation here? I mean being head coach at USC might be better than being defensive coordinator of the Seahawks. If Walker ends up leaving, do you think that the people of Las Cruces and NMSU will be kind to Walker or will he be remembered as someone who wasted our time for only one season?

Isn't Yee, Norm Chow's agent as well? If so, he is saying the same thing about Chow going to USC.....
Interesting note....Carter Chow is a sports agent for the Yee & Dubin sports agency. Carter Chow is Norm Chow's son.
