OK, now I'm starting to bug out

OK, this is from Jason La Canfora, the guy who I said was usually right. Well, he reported that Walker was the lead candidate to go to the Seahawks. Now, he's saying differently. Check it.....

I think that at this point Carroll has decided to go with someone else besides Walker. Rumors are that thre was some flack about too many college coaches. Don't know if that is true or not, but for some reason, Carroll seems to be thinking along other lines.

It also may be that Walker insisted on full authority with teh defense, and would not have that, so either Walker or Carroll may have pulled back.

Right now, I'd say that Walker will be at NMSU for next year, and maybe the year after. If the team comes along like I think it can, he'll be gone for 2012.

I thinks its good news for NMSU and the excellent verbals. It's time for the SeaBirds to get it done already

This is great news for Aggie fans. Because Sunday is the first day of "live recruiting." Hopefully they get this guy from the 'Skins before then and we can put these rumors to rest and keep all this great talent that has committed to State.

Looks like 9pistolpete9 got it right with his post a few days ago (January 13, 2010 10:56 AM)!

It is always good to have a coach whose consideration for an NFL opening is not viewed as ludicrous. Can't wait to see how the new recruits, Walker's first full effort, and the returners play next year.

As for a totally unrelated question........Will Nick Paden be playing next year? I haven't heard much about him since he took an injury redshirt.
