Mike Dunbar resurfaces with high school team
Former New Mexico State Aggies offensive coordinator Mike Dunbar has resurfaced in football — high school football, that is — as the offensive coordinator at Tenino High School in Olympia, Wash.
Dunbar abruptly retired in early March, after just one season with the Aggies.
Dunbar has been a college football coach for nearly 25 years.
“My wife and I, we talked about it a lot on and off,” Dunbar said to the Sun-News on March 6. “For us, this is the time.”

I can certainly understand that after 25 yrs. the guy is tired of college football and just didn't want to put in those long hours and road trips.
The way he quit as OC for NMSU was truly, UN-PROFFESIONAL! I mean less than a month before spring practice!
However, I am glad he's gone. Eventhough he put coach Walker and the team in bind. Coach Martin has WAY better job in 5 games than Dunbar did last year.
Isn't that Archie Bunker ?
Glad he gave what he had. If he didn't want to be here, who would want him to be here. Good for everyone around that he is gone.
