Davon House

Saw that he signed a four year, $2.34 million deal with the Green Bay Packers.

And Seth Smith and Kyle Nelson are still on training camp rosters with San Francisco and New Orleans, respectively.

1)Never heard of this House guy.

2) must be sad when you hope Montana joins the WAC. The WAC is a big joke and will become an even bigger joke in 2012.

nice start for Davon. Hope he continues on to another, larger, contract. Football careers are not very long.

Obviously the Green Bay Packers have heard about Davon House and that's all that matters!

Who cares if you never heard of him. The Super Bowl Champions just gave him $2 Million reasons to say he's pretty darn good!! You jealous punk!

I'll be honest with you Teddy, previously I was mostly going to Jason's blog but there's a wise guy on there that won't stop harrassing me and Jason won't block his posts. I live in San Antonio, TX but grew up in Las Cruces and have always been a die hard Aggie fan. I hope you will welcome my comments on here and not allow others to attack decent people for no reason.

I love to chat about sports and keep up with things back home but Jason's blog got too negative for me. I also like to hear other people's opinions as well as give mine...but in a respectful manner. Other than Anon 10:08, people on here seem to be pretty cool.

I will probably keep up with your blog more often.

I managed to get back to Las Cruces for a few games over House's career and he's awesome. I've seen schools like Texas and A&M play and he's just as good as any player coming out of those places. I think he will have a very good career in the NFL.

Jefe, it looks like you just got called out.

RT, are you the same San Antonio guy that is always talking about the type of talent that exists on the San Antonio HS football level, and how those HS kids can beat the Aggies? If not, welcome to the blog.

For all, incase you forgot about Chris Williams, he's kicking butt in the cfl. Heres a nice link:

Go Aggies!

Sorry-I misread the last post. I agree, 10:08 is jerk.

I thought RT called out Jefe.

lol..I wasn't calling out Jefe. I have never had a problem with him. Actually I think the high school football in New Mexico and Las Cruces is very good. There was a guy from Katy, Texas on here that used to put down Mayfield all the time. I was the one that defended Mayfield. I think Mayfield or Cruces can compete with any high school teams in Texas. The talent here in San Antonio is pretty good though and I think it will be a good recruiting area for UTSA and in turn may actually help NM State. Getting more exposure in this area when UTSA joins the WAC may help NM State land more SA players.

As much as I hate to say it, I think the new WAC will be good for the Aggies. It may allow us to be competitive, plus it should help us recruit Texas. I don't think the quality of the competition matters to most people as much as we think. At this point, we just want to see a winner.
