A big Thursday night game for Aggies

It will be a big Thursday night basketball game for the New Mexico State Aggies, when they host the Utah State Aggies at 7 p.m.

Both of these teams figure to challenge for a league title — Nevada, NMSU and Utah State all have the look of top-four teams in the conference. And if the Aggies are serious about competing for the WAC title, I don’t think they can afford to lose this game.

Utah State is a well-coached team and will be ready after losing at home to Nevada last week.

But I like NMSU at home in this one. Could be a different story in Logan, but in Las Cruces I’ll take the home Aggies.

I say the Aggies get to the magical 20 wins this season and sit home to watch the NCAA and NIT tournaments with the Miners. There will be one team from NM in the NCAAs...

Will be happy if they prove me wrong.

Just watched the Teddy and Brook show and I have 3 questions.

1) Why does Teddy keep claping and punching his hand ?
2)Why is Mayfield a scrap iron team? Better still what is a scrap iron team?
3) How can I get tickets to this comedy show?

Really hard to get excited about playing in the weak WAC. Stew wins of the game is close, aggies win if we can run!

PAC looked like a ghost town.

I don't agree that the PAC looked like a ghost town. I mentioned to my friends (we were actually at the game---not watching on TV) that there was a pretty good crowd and quite a few students, considering that school hasn't started yet. If you weren't at the game, you missed an exciting game and the best entertainment in Las Cruces.
