Important news on practice

Got some important news on practice for those who enjoy going out and watching the team play.

Since the NCAA allows teams 29 practices in fall camp, adjustments had to be made on the Aggie practice schedule. The Aggies have had 23 practices so far during camp. Here are the remaining practice days leading up to Week 1.

Aug. 27th – 3:50 – 5:50 pm
Aug. 29th – Time to be announced
Sept. 1st – 3:50 – 5:50 pm
Sept. 2nd – 3:50 – 5:50 pm
Sept. 3rd – 3:50 – 5:50 pm

I spoke with coach Walker about the lack of practice time leading up to Idaho and he wasn't concerned. On the team's “off” days, the players are still working heavily in the weight room and at team and position meetings.

“We beat them up physically this camp,” Walker said. “We have (six) of them left. When we get out there, we have to practice hard.”

Off topic: Need a QB?

Am wondering if the Aggies have an open scholarship...

I beleive they recruited a couple this year -- one experienced in JC - Fleming and one true Freshman - Rust. Saw Rust in High School -- the kid will contribute big time -- with some experience

Those 2 a days are absolutely brutal and wear you down pretty good.
The players need a day off here & there to recover and go hard when they have practice.

We want the team to be 100% before the season opener and yes, they need to practice hard but, the fans rather see the team leave it all on the field on game day.

I think we have a good team that will play hard to the last whistle.

As far as needing a new QB?
No thanks, we're going to war with Fleming, Walls and Rust.

Do or die Aggies!
