NMSU shout out on ESPN

ESPN.com named Charley Johnson as the “Face of the Program” at NMSU.

It gives a short breakdown on why Johnson was chosen to represent New Mexico State and allows the fans to vote on who they thing the face of the program should be. Here's the link.....

Charlie Johnson beat out Chase Holbrook??

Let's give Charlie some chaps, a couple of six shooters and let him ride around the FB field!

Chase Holbrook is too soft to be the face of the program!

Chase is fluff.

Chase has been the man since he got here, and is the current face of Aggie football. If you don't believe that then you must be in denial, or Chase's ex-girlfriend.

It's too bad that ESPN still can't get NMSU and UNM straight. Look at the graphic on the main page (in the toggle menu below the large lead story). It says "New Mexico St.", but shows a picture of Urlacher.

Should Chase be the face of the program? Probably not. Is he soft? No.

They fixed it...or, more accurately, removed the offending peice of the graphic all together.

This area has SWALLOWED the Chase hook. Fools! Mumme talks this guy up, allows him to throw a gazillion one yard passes and you all think he parts the Red Sea. He reminds me of Warren Beatty playing the QB in the movie Heaven Can Wait.

Let's see, he has led us to how many wins here? Don't count the W's over the D2 or 1AA jv teams.

He gets hit and knocked out because he can't move and has the athleticism of our offensive line men.

Ok Aggie fans, keep swallowing that Chase hook! Hype, hype, hype. Given some reps, our back up QB could be much better.

Charlie Johnson is ten times the player Chase ever thought about being or ever will be.

I got your ex-girlfriend right here.

I want to invite everyone over to the Aggie message board and read this post by Chase's father. http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?S=242#s=242&f=2377&t=2597174
