As I'm sure most know, Las Cruces High won the Class 5A State Football Championship last weekend in Albuquerque, a 35-28 victory over Sandia. The Sun-News was present and had a story and photos from the game (which can be viewed by clicking here). Am I mistaken or has the city of Las Cruces grown so used to Mayfield or Las Cruces High School winning the state football championship that we kind of take them for granted?
It almost seems that the city title creates more buzz than the state title does...
