Aggies to hire Brandon as offensive coordinator

New Mexico State football is expected to announce today the hiring of Gregg Brandon as offensive coordinator.

Brandon was previously the OC at the University of Wyoming for two years and was head coach at Bowling Green from 2003-08.

Seems like a really good hire.
I saw that he made the U Wy a really good offensive team in 2011, finish 3rd in the MWC.

I'm not really sure what happened this past year but, I recall HC Christensen's Youtube cursing at the Air Force coach, aka, "Mr. Howdy Doody/ fly boy"
The season was lost after that profanity laced tirade.

My guess is that Christensen is on a short leash & coaches were looking to get out.

Anyways, Brandon will move the ball and his offense puts up points. Damn good hire!

In 2011 he had a freshman QB @ Wyoming and had really good season.

Not sure what happened this past year but, I'm sure that fouled mouthed Head Coach hurt the WYO. morale.

Tre Colwell could be a special p-layer in his offense.
