From what I'm hearing, the Aggies received another verbal commitment this weekend, this one coming from Houston, Texas defensive end Martin Efedi.
Here's some info on the 6-foot-4, 230 pound defensive end.
NMSU needed some more pass rushers at end to spell Donte Savage and Pierre Fils. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Aggies get another as the recruiting period continues to unfold.
The team has done well along both lines during the recruiting process and has landed some QBs. Again, some wide receivers would be nice. And a running back or two.
Oh, and keeping DeWayne Walker in town. That would be the biggest catch of all.....
Nice.
ReplyDeleteStill waiting for that 6'+ 200lb speed burner at wideout and maybe a stud linebacker.
And a relleno in my combination plate.
He seems to have good size but there is a lack of info on him.
ReplyDeleteWhere are the recievers. We are in big hurt there.
ReplyDeleteHe was suppose to visit UTEP. Nice get for NMSU. He could red-shirt and gain 20 pounds and come back next season at 6'4 250 or even 260.
ReplyDeleteNone of these great recruits are coming if Walker isn't here. God, I hope he stays.
ReplyDeleteIts hard to make the argument to him that the community is behind him and wants him here. Our attendance was pathetic, again.
I don't know when you Las Cruces people will learn to get behind a team no matter the record. Fan support=wins.
You don't have to be in LC to support any of the teams. You can join the athletic club or just simply donate your money or tickets to the program. Get off your high horse and do you share too.
ReplyDeleteIve seen this kid in person, hes a beast.... If him and Anthony Joyner sign, look out. They were both on their recruiting trip the same time, last weekend. These guys could both start as freshman. These are the studs we need. Good Job walker, dont leave us.
