I do.<br /><br />Wen and his team are so deserving.<br /><br />However, at the end of the day, the game is about putting the ball in the hole and we simply don't have anyone on this team that can do that consistently - especially at crunch time.<br /><br />I hope I'm wrong, but me thinks Nevada wins a title match with NMSU - and who can begrudge the regular season champs?<br /><br />Recruiting great athletes is great. Love running and jumping over lesser opponents. Combo guards, combo forwards, Combo centers? Flexibility to put 'em all over the court. Raw talent? If it would only emerge...<br /><br />But the name of the game is putting the ball in the hole and Nevada's players are more skilled than NMSU at doing just that. We're fatally flawed - by design.<br /><br />Ask the U of Oregon head coach about recruiting raw talent. They've switched to getting skilled players and are now contenders in the PAC 10.<br /><br />Next year at NMSU? Same design. No Wen. No hope.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
